Dear Dr. Wong, I am an adult patient with Stargaardt’s disease. I’m also an engineer and researcher. When I was diagnosed a few years ago i was very unimpressed with the utility and function of the paper Amsler grid. I worked with NIH on computerizing the grid and making it so it collects and tracks very specific metrics associated with retina health ( percent blind area and aggregate distortion ). NIH was very enthusiastic about the system i developed and so were the doctors at the AAO/APOA joint meeting in Chicago when i introduced the system publicly for the first time. The system lets users at home track their retina health more closely and it saves the data and images so trends can be analyzed and observed quickly. I invite you to view the demo on my website. I would also be happy to demo the system to you personally. I am hoping that you will refer your patients to my site where i sell the system for only $18. Thank you Sir.

      Dear Christopher,

Thanks for contributing and best of luck.

I can’t make any promises about evaluating your product on your site or in person. My time is the issue.

      Randy

    Dr. Wong
You did a Vitrectomy for my floaters on February 15th. I cannot tell you how happy I am with it. To be “floater free” after having these for the last 2 years is like heaven. The proffessionalism and caring attitudes from you and your staff was so appreciated. If I knew that it was going to be so easy and so painless, I would have done it 2 years ago. I always kept you in the back of my mind when my eye Dr. was telling me that there was nothing I could do and I would have to live with them.
. I had cataract surgery a few years ago and my eye Dr.told me that it was very safe and then he turns around and tells me I shouldn’t have the Vitrectomy done?
When I finally talked with you and you told me that it is safer than cataract surgery, that finally made my mind up. I can’t understand why these other “specialist” don’t want to help people with these floaters. Mine were messing with my life everyday……..and now they are gone. Thank you so much for changing my life and my vision.
    Bill
